Please review these policies and complete the forms if you would like
to gain access to the Fitness Center on the VA Campus. Once you
have completed these forms, please call Dawn Bruce (803.733.3195) to schedule
an appointment to get your hand scanned. Turn these forms into Dawn
Bruce at your scheduled appointment time. The office is located
in Building 3, Room 205.
Mandatory Orientation Schedule
All M-I Students will report on Monday, August 4th, to the M-I Classroom
at the School of Medicine VA Campus. The program will begin promptly
at 8:00 AM and all sessions are required for all students. Check
back later for a full agenda including all of the Orientation Week sessions
and events.-
Special Needs
On several days during Orientation lunch will be provided for you.
If you would like to request vegetarian meals or notify us of any other
dietary restrictions, please email Karen David at kdavid@gw.med.sc.edu
no later than July 11th.

You may have your Student ID made over the summer or during Orientation
week at the Russell House on main campus. If you already have a
USC ID and wish to have a more current one made, the cost will be $25.

Entrance Loan Counseling
Only complete this if you are taking out loans. www.sc.edu/financialaid
Click on Loan Counseling on the Web and choose the correct option for
you.

Fee Payment
Online fee payment will be available in VIP starting July 15th, 2008.
Log into VIP and click on the Financial tab. Choose the first option
of Fees, Tuition, and Payment. You can pay on line using your financial
aid, an e-check, or a credit card. Your fees must be paid by the
first day of classes, which is August 11th. Financial aid overages
will begin to be mailed out August 15th, 2008.
Sign your Master Promissory Note
Only complete this if you are taking out loans. www.sc.edu/financialaid
Click on Master Promissory Note on the Web. Click on Complete your
Stafford Loan Master Promissory Note. Click on your chosen lender
and complete.
VIP

and familiarize yourself with this site.
Be sure that your local address and email address are correct under the
Personal Tab.
You can view your Financial Aid awards, Financial Aid status, and choose
your Student Loan Lender under the Financial tab.
