The Office of Clinical Affairs is responsible for managing the clinical faculty practice plan, University Specialty Clinics, of the University of South Carolina School of Medicine.  In partnership with Palmetto Health Richland, the University Specialty Clinics is committed to providing quality health care to our patients.   This office also encompasses legal, compliance, privacy and the billing departments.

The University Specialty Clinics is comprised of a team of more than 200 School of Medicine faculty physicians and 500 health professionals delivering advanced, compassionate care in multiple specialty areas. As the largest health care provider in the Midlands, physicians treat everything from an acute ear infection to the most complex medical conditions.
